Many of us use aromatherapy for relaxation. Did you know that aromatherapy started around 3500 B.C.? It was a means of healing and was used for religious rituals. They used many fragrances such as natural, perfumes, and woodsy scents. In this blog, we’re going to cover some of your favorite scents and what they represent.

If you enjoy being outdoors, earthy scents may be a great choice for you. Rain, grass, and wood have a calming effect on your mood. They have been known to reduce stress and anxiety. A few examples of Earthy scents are breezy air, water, soil, wood, and moss. If you are on a spiritual journey or just need to relax, earth scents may be a good choice for you. Try a few while you relax and see how it makes you feel.

Who doesn’t love perfume? Perfumes can range anywhere from light and subtle, to heavy and elegant. They date back to the Egyptian and Roman Empires. The perfumes were used for hygiene ceremonies. Today’s usage is more for confidence boosters, aphrodisiacs, and makes you feel fresh and clean.
